Henry j Yasses - Fine Artist
My 'pen' name for all my art, to make it easier for everyone is Henry j. I have been doing photographic fine art and painting for over 35+ years. My career started in high school and college and continues today. When I was in college, my first 2 years were attended at Genesse Community College in Batavia, New York, then I transfered to the University of North Carolina at Asheville, I was accepted into an Art Show at The Keenen Center in Lockport, New York( two Paintings and 3 3D sculptured pieces). At UNCA, many pieces I produced were sold and are in many private collections. During this time I concentrated using oils and watercolors, of portraits and still lifes.
Over the years I worked more in the Fine Art of Photographic Interpratation in the portrait and wedding areas. About 6-7 years ago I was introduced to Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter. At the present time I am involved with this Virtual and endless media, and produce Fine Art and Portraits of unbelievable color and style of munipulation. Make no mistake, this is a new, exciting and creative Art Media. My finished works are either Giclee' or Dye-Sublamation printed on canvas, watercolor paper, or aluminum and many are finished either in Watercolors, Oils, or Acylic with a UV protecterent making these works last 150-200 years or longer without any color changes. I feel my work is a combination of Realistic and Abstract Impressionism, with a Contemporary feel. Just resently I have been experimenting and working in Dye-Sublimation Transfers on brushed aluminum, and has been consuming me day and night, I'm loving it. Please enjoy your visit and I look forward to 'hearing' from you.
